Hong Kong Airport – Passenger Charging Facilities

Hong Kong International Airport is ranked among the world’s busiest passenger airports, featuring one of the largest passenger terminal buildings globally. To ensure passenger comfort, 6,000 Zoeftig InFINITE seats were installed in the T1 Midfield Concourse, and with most passengers carrying up to three devices, at-seat power was an integral part of the Zoeftig project.

Zoeftig worked with OE to develop two custom power units, colour-matched to the new seating and integrated with closed-system cable management for a seamless look and maximum safety. 

Every power unit features OE’s easy-to-replace TUF-R USB modules, allowing damaged outlets to be replaced in under five minutes, ensuring minimal downtime.

TUF  became such an integral part of the specification that it is now the sole choice for Hong Kong airport, saving them time and resources. Additional OE power units were installed throughout the terminal, enhancing the passenger experience with easily accessible power in almost every space.
