Facility managers carry out as much repair and maintenance as they can, calling in contractors only when repairs are outside their capabilities. Most end-user power outlets require an electrician for safe replacement; however, TUF-R modules have been designed to be replaced safely by facility managers without the need to call an electrician or turn off the power.
The modular design means a TUF-R cartridge can be changed onsite in less than five minutes, saving time, resources and reducing waste. The benefit for the end user and the facility, is almost no downtime.

The most common failure point of most USB chargers is the USB tongue. OE has redesigned the USB Type-A port so that the tongue is slightly flexible and is placed in the middle of the port. This allows the USB connector to be plugged in either way, reducing wear or damage from incorrect attempts, which in turn significantly reduces the failure rate from accidental end-user damage, extending the life of the module and the product it is fitted into.
