Traditionally, passengers have been able to charge their laptops and mobile phones on a limited number of AC sockets where they may be available. Now customers are able to charge their laptops and mobiles using the universal USB-C connector, making the inclusion of TUF-R USB-C ports a welcome addition to passenger charging options.

The unique and patented benefit of being replaceable makes TUF-R modules perfect for transport and public spaces. Replacing the module and not the whole product saves time and money and reduces waste. TUF-R also includes the world’s first reversible Type-A USB port.

There are more than 6,700 charging points installed in convenient locations throughout the Hong Kong passenger terminals, such as boarding gates and transfer areas, enabling passengers to charge their personal electronic devices. TUF-R power modules have also been fitted into the beam seating.
